After taking thousands of photographs while out walking/running around Ilkley Moor and cycling in the Yorkshire Dales, I’ve been encouraged to start making prints available for people to own. I’m choosing photographs that capture familiar places in unusual ways or under exceptional conditions.
I’m intending to release images in blocks of ten and provide in a limited edition of only ten copies, each one signed and numbered, along with a certificate of authentication and some background to the image. It all sounds a little pretentious but there’s a reason for playing the game. I want to raise money for a few good causes, plus also try to support some projects of my own. For all the images of Ilkley Moor, 10% of the sale price will be donated to Friends of Ilkley Moor. For all the images taken in Wharfedale and the Yorkshire Dales, 10% of the sale price will be donated to Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
I’m hoping my prints will be enduring and collectible works of art. They are printed on high quality archival paper and framed by local professionals. As images in each run are sold, the price will increase. Early adopters could be well rewarded!
In addition, selected images from Offcumdens are also available, these released in a limited edition of 50.
